Your result for Which Chess Piece are You Test?...
The Knight's Blacksmith
Congrats! Only 10-12% of the population score this!

The Knight's Blacksmith is practical and matter-of-fact, with a natural inclination towards business or mechanics. They apply themselves when necessary but find application to theoretical constructs to be counterproductive if a bit repugnant. Why theorize when you can simply try? They work hard and efficiently and easily meet deadlines. They are also useful in pointing out falsehoods.
They are civic-minded and work to maintain the smooth operations of a running society. They defend the status quo and are generally strong believers in rules and procedures through tradition. They are outgoing and do not hesitate to communicate their opinions and expectations of others. They may end up focusing too much on the task at hand forgetting the costs of long term. They may also be a bit blunt with their criticism. However they ensure the completion of any project with their tenacity and sheer willpower. You should be pleased scoring as a 'Pawn' - it proves that you are a constructive and contributing member of society.

You are Justice
Equity, rightness, probity, executive; triumph of the observing side in law.
Justice is about cold, objective balance through reason or natural force. You can't keep smoking and drinking without consequences to your health. It is the card that advises cutting out waste and insists that you make adjustments, do whatever is necessary to bring things back into balance, physically, emotionally, socially, spiritually. It is a card of balance and harmony; if there is imbalance, the correction may
require recourse to the law.
What Tarot Card are You?
Take the Test to Find Out.
On some days, I'd be anyone but me. Those are the days when the cases are getting me down or when things are going wrong in life. Most days, however, I wouldn't be anyone but me. I have a pretty amazing life.
I live in a state that has sunshine ninety percent of the time. There is an ethnic diversity that is amazing to be in. If I want to be by nature, I only have to drive to the west to see the Everglades or the south to find unspoiled beaches.
Then there's what I do for a living. I get paid to use science to put away the bad guys. I get paid to be around guns. Most of all, I get paid to be around some of the best people I know. I live a pretty amazing life, and I know how lucky I am. I wouldn't want to be anyone else except Calleigh Duquesne.
Thank you to everyone that voted for her.
Calleigh looked at the therapist, her features a blank mask. "I'm sorry?"
"Your anger. How do you handle it? Are you one of those people that explode with anger or are you more the type that internalizes it?" The therapist glanced over her half glasses.
Calleigh sat in silence for a few minutes before she reluctantly admitted. "I internalize it. I don't let people see my emotions. Part of it was the way that I was raised. Southern women wear a mask of everything is fine on the surface, while our legs are paddling fast under the water. Part of it is also my job. As a CSI, I can't let a suspect or anyone know what I'm really thinking or feeling."
She tucked a strand of hair behind her ear. "I will let someone know I'm disappointed or upset with them." It was said almost defensively. Memories of talking to her father, or John, even Jake flashed in her mind. "I get silent when I'm very angry rather than have angry outbursts. It's not productive to lose control when it's just as effective to let someone know you're disappointed or hurt calmly."
It was all about control for Calleigh. The control of her emotions and the reasonable control of her environment. She hated not having control.

I used to have a phobia of ants. Actually, that's a lie I still have it, I've just faced it and semi-dealt with it. I know how ridiculous my phobia sounds believe me. Every time I tried to get out of a dumpster dive everyone assumed it was because it was in the trash. Nothing was farther from the truth. It was the thought of ants inside. Even when you just see them from a distance you can feel them crawling on you. I'd rather have my colleagues thought I was a girly girl not wanting to dumpster dive than it was a fear of ants.
I've had a gun barrel against my temple a few times and I was just waiting for the click of the trigger to end my life. I would face those times again before I would crawl inside an ant terrarium once more. Even after I took a shower, I still felt those creepy crawly insects all over me. Don't get me started on people that eat them or have them in drinks because it's just the latest fad. That gave me nightmares for weeks.
So there you have it. The girl that faces alligators and sociopathic killers calmly is terrified of ants.
"Calleigh?"
She raised her green gaze at the sound of her name and sighed softly. "My father is an alcoholic." It wasn't like it was a secret, but she still didn't tell many people that. Nor did she use the term recovering alcoholic. The longest her father had gone without a drink was sixty days and she wasn't even sure if that was a truth.
"I couldn't tell you when it fell apart for him, but I do know I was ten years old when I realized he had a problem." A twist of the lips that didn't even remotely resemble a smile. "Not that I knew what an alcoholic was, only that some mornings I would wake up and he would have fallen asleep on the couch, an empty bourbon bottle on the floor."
God, she'd never wanted friends to sleep over. She'd never wanted anyone to see her daddy like that. Calleigh had been protective of him even then.
It didn't matter that as an adult she knew she didn't have influence over her father's actions, Calleigh still felt the internal pressure. The little girl's voice echoing in her mind, if only I'd been better daddy wouldn't be like this. It was one of the motivating factors of what drove her to be the best growing up. To be at the top of her class always. A child's fear that she was the reason for her father's weakness still resided in the strong and independent woman.

Calleigh Duquesne
CSI: Miami
Calleigh ducked under the crime scene tape and carried her kit into Dek23, one of the VIP clubs that dotted the South Beach landscape. Her footsteps faltered when she noticed a five year old sitting on a bar stool with Horatio talking to her patiently.
"Uh…" Calleigh glanced over at Natalia with a raised eyebrow.
"Yeah, don't ask me. I got here a few minutes before you." Natalia shrugged and placed her camera over her shoulders.
Calleigh surreptitiously glanced once again to the child before making her way over to where Frank stood. "Hi, Frank. What do we have?"
Tripp looked up from his notes, "Double homicide. Fight got out of hand. Witnesses claim this one." He pointed to the first victim lying by the sound system, "got a little jealous when the other one was dancing with a red headed woman. Argument happened, bouncers broke it up. Bartender says that they stayed away from each other the rest of the night but exchanged 'glares'." Frank did air quotes around the last word.
She couldn't help herself, curiosity getting the better of her. "And the little girl?"
He sighed and shook his head. "Wrong place, wrong time. Mom's shift was just ending an hour before close at Four am. She got away from the babysitter and came inside to meet mom. They claim it's the first time she's ever been inside while the bar was open." His tone indicated that he didn't believe them, but since he figured it would definitely be the last time, he wasn't going to make an issue of it. "She was one of the witnesses. Up close and personal."
Calleigh mentally winced though her features remained impassive. "Poor kid. Okay then, let's get this over with. The quicker we get this done, the quicker she can go home. Have we found the murder weapon?"
"Weapons." Frank corrected her. "And yeah. The perps were nice enough to keep them for us." He pointed to where Natalia was bagging the guns. "They thought this was the shoot out at the OK Corral, I guess. Each fired off a few rounds before they got hit."
"Wait. You're telling me that they killed each other?" Calleigh looked at him incredulously.
"Yep." Frank nodded his head. "Owner's talking about putting in a metal detector."
She sighed, "That's a bit like closing the barn door after the horse got out. But it's a good idea. Guess I'll get started, thanks, Frank."
Calleigh set down her kit and put on her gloves. There were a lot of pros and cons to open and shut cases. Usually, they weren't as open and shut as they first thought.
Welcome to Miami (RP for

It got her through the crowd of people where she was able to see John at the baggage claim counter. Tension etched his features and his body language which had her assuming that his luggage or part of his luggage hadn't arrived when he had. Calleigh approached the counter with a smile, "John, hey. Welcome to Miami."
I've always had a sunny outlook on life. It's not that I look at life through rose colored glasses; I've seen the worst that man can do. It's that I understand the universal truth, that it goes on. We are just a speck and our lives are only a bump in the road in the bigger picture. I've always believed that you can either laugh or cry about a situation, neither one will change it, so you might as well laugh.
I don't really like change. I find comfort in knowing that I'll walk in to my lab and Eric will be there or I'll walk down to the morgue and there's Alexx. It took me a very long time not to expect to see Speed when I got to work after he died. Even after Ryan joined our team, I'd expect to see Speed's half smile or his scowl when he was thinking about something. I fully expect it to take as long to get over not seeing Alexx in the morgue.
But, life does go one. We'll move on taking other jobs, or spending more time with our family, or perhaps even die on the job. Our colleagues, friends and family will move on leading their own lives as it should be. We'll give the new ME on our team a chance, just like Alexx gave me when I joined Horatio's team. Life goes on, but it doesn't mean I have to like that it changes.
